If you’re looking for luxury while having sand between your toes, Broome is the ultimate spot for your next vacation.

Broome is located in Western Australia’s Kimberley region, and offers an extensive 22km-long Cable Beach, making it the perfect beach resort town.

Founded as a pearling port over 100 years ago, it is well known for its production of some of the world’s finest pearls, which Australia’s indigenous people have been harvesting for thousands of years.

Award-winning Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa is situated right across from the ocean, providing guests with a stunning Indian Ocean sunset each night.

Framed by palm trees, the resort also boasts that it is as heavenly as the white sand beach it is located on.

The resort opened in 1988 and has heavily invested in upgrades to the family pool and its Sunset Bar & Grill, as well as in creating Private Villas and Pool Terrace Studio Rooms, giving it a flawless modern design.

Some of the facilities offered to guests include a meditation room, gym, business centre, lagoon style pool and family pool, tennis court, mini golf, a water playground for families and a choice of four restaurants.

Cable Beach Club flaunts lush tropical gardens and is styled to reflect the Asian and colonial influences of Broome.

The resort offers a unique family experience and is the perfect escape for a romantic couples’ retreat.

Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa have designed menus across their four restaurants to reflect the influences of the region and cater to every diner.

Zensai presents traditional Japanese favourites designed to take you on a culinary journey to Japan.

As the intimate dining venue seats only 28 guests, bookings are essential.

The Sunset Bar and Grill overlooks the ocean and provides diners with their choice of a casual bar menu or a full à la carte dinner; Cicchetti Club provides small modern Italian meals designed to share, and Kichi Kichi is a contemporary Asian eatery that overlooks the family pool.

Broome offers visitors a number of attractions and activities including the world’s oldest outdoor cinema, Sun Pictures, which opened in 1916. Visitors are treated to recently released movies which they can enjoy on a deck chair under the stars.

Every Saturday morning the Broome Courthouse transforms to hold local markets supporting up to 115 creative stalls including fashion, food and drink, music and entertainment, jewellery and art and craft.

These have become a major tourist attraction and are a great way to immerse yourself into Broome’s culture and community.

One of the most iconic experiences while in Broome is a camel ride on Cable Beach. Both morning and evening tours are available, with the evening tour timed perfectly with a breathtaking sunset over the Indian Ocean. These tours vary from 30-60 minutes and take place all year round.

Also available are sunset cruises on your choice of a luxury yacht, catamaran or a historical pearl lugger.

Sit back with a glass of bubbles, relish in the relaxed atmosphere and enjoy cruising on the milky blue waters of Broome.
