Tom Brady’s watch, valued at $740,000, was the star of the show, which took away from what should’ve been the real show, his expert analysis. Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar’s diamond chain sparked curiosity and conversation between star Drake and Kendrick’s company, pgLang.
With a legendary career boasting the most quarterback wins, regular seasonal victories, playoff triumphs, and the Superbowl MVP awards in NFL history, he’s the Man the Myth, the Superbowl Legend, Tom Brady. The 47-year-old seven-time former quarterback champion made his commentary debut on Fox at the 2025 Super Bowl held in New Orleans on February 9th. His expertise pitched by his commentary wasn’t the only thing that grabbed the people’s attention; instead, his yellow eye-catching bling on his wrist was the real star.

The 44mm timepiece carefully handmade by Jacob & Co. is truly a masterpiece. Featuring an 18k Rose-Gold Dial invisibly set with 121 Baguette yellow sapphires (9.12 ct.) and a case invisibly set with 216 baguette yellow sapphires (25.25 ct.). The self-winding movement is adorned with 338 brilliant-cut diamonds (1.32 ct.), while the one-minute flying tourbillon adds to the technical marvel. With 216 components, a 42-hour power reserve, and a strap made of Alligator leather, this watch is not just a timepiece but a work of art.
The cost? Retailing for a staggering $740,000—nearly three-quarters of a million dollars, most definitely a piece for none other than Tom Brady. The legendary quarterback turned Fox Sports analyst made his Super Bowl debut in style, arriving with a watch that certainly stole the spotlight.
Apart from the Super Bowl itself, the Half-time show is always almost as Iconic. This year, the grammy-winning rapper, Kendrick Lamar, 37, brought out multiple hits, including “Humble,” “Squabble Up”, “TV Off,” and the new record or some might say diss track, “Not Like Us.” as well as performing with announced Guest SZA both of which gained significant online attention. A performance for the books.

What also caused significant online attention was Lamar’s staggering jewellery. Kendrick, known to embed symbolism in his jewellery choices, was wearing quite the symbol during his performance at the 2025 Superbowl. The Rapper wore a substantially sized diamond lowercase “a” chain, rendered in the same font as his multimedia company, pgLang, which he co-founded in 2020 with a longtime friend and business, Dave Free. Kendrick is very proud of his company therefore also appearing to be flashing the ‘a’ on performance jackets and flags waved by his crew. The piece designed by his Jeweler Eliantte, was originally thought by the public to stand for “A-, minor”, A dig to Drake from his lyrics of his diss track, “Not like Us.” even though the piece worth in the hundreds of thousands almost a million dollars ($400,000-$980,000) is most likely to be regarded towards the company rather than drake.

These two icons showed that success isn’t just about accolades; it’s about style, symbolism, and leaving a lasting impression. Whether on the field or on stage, they both know how to capture the spotlight.
