In a glittering moment at New York Fashion Week 2025, Chopard revealed its latest haute joaillerie Ice Cube collection. Elevating one of its most recognisable motifs with audacious design, the maison turned its signature cuboid aesthetic into modern art for the body, sharp, radiant and emotionally expressive.
VOLUME LIGHT MOVEMENT
Originally launched in 1999, the Ice Cube line has long been celebrated for its geometry and mirror like surfaces. In 2024 Chopard reinterpreted it as a haute joaillerie capsule collection and this season the maison pushed things further. Caroline Scheufele, Chopard co president and artistic director, speaks of pushing the language of Ice Cube into volume, into movement, into expression. Pieces feel wearable yet unexpected.
Necklaces, rings and bracelets reflect light like skyscrapers at dusk. Cuboid motifs of varying size are crafted with meticulous precision. Some surfaces are mirror-polished gold, others set with diamonds that catch the eye without overwhelming. Asscher cut diamonds appear in several standout pieces, enhancing the architectural feel.

A NIGHT IN NEW YORK ABOVE THE SKYLINE
Chopard chose the 55th floor of One Vanderbilt for the reveal, high above the city’s bed of lights. The setting felt like part of the collection: urban elegance elevated, dramatic views, and a celebration of geometry in both architecture and jewellery.
The guest list included Ashley Graham, Normani, Ryan Destiny, Emily Ratajkowski and Bella Hadid, among others. Chef Daniel Boulud handled the cuisine, DJ Mia Moretti curated the sonic landscape, all contributing to a night where design and atmosphere intertwined.

TRADITIONAL TECHNIQUE WITH MODERN ETHOS
Beyond the sparkle and show, the Ice Cube collection is also a testament to Chopard’s commitment to craftsmanship and ethics. The pieces are made in ethical 18-carat gold, with diamonds sourced under rigorous standards. The shapes are bold, yet the craftsmanship remains delicate; each cube motif is joined in ways that allow for movement, comfort and architectural strength.
A modular necklace is among the highlights; its rows are detachable to allow transformation in how it is worn. Bracelets come in multiple rows with options in white or rose gold, some fully diamond set, others partly so. Brooches and earrings use the cube motif in a fresh configuration.

EVERLASTING IDENTITY
Ice Cube has always been part of Chopard’s signature vocabulary. What this iteration does is honour the line’s roots while expanding its expressive capacity. The collection feels like a bridge: between jewellery and sculptural form, between tradition and contemporary art, between luxury and daily presence.
It is jewellery you can wear, pause to admire, and feel attached to. It is jewellery that plays with light, shapes identity and elevates even simple moments. In a time when extravagance can feel showy, Chopard reminds us that clarity of design is a form of luxury too.
