Automobili Lamborghini has unveiled the Revuelto Impavido, a Japan exclusive limited edition that celebrates the 25th anniversary of Lamborghini Japan. Limited to just 25 individually numbered examples, the model combines the groundbreaking Revuelto hybrid supercar with design inspiration drawn from Bushido, the traditional Japanese code of honour. The result is a highly personalised flagship that blends Italian engineering with Japanese cultural symbolism in a unique celebration of craftsmanship, performance and heritage.

Celebrating 25 Years of Lamborghini in Japan

To mark a quarter century of Lamborghini’s presence in Japan, the company has created one of its most exclusive modern special editions. The Revuelto Impavido has been developed specifically for the Japanese market and reflects the close relationship between Lamborghini and one of its most passionate customer bases.

The anniversary edition is limited to only 25 cars, with each vehicle individually numbered to highlight its exclusivity. Rather than simply adding cosmetic changes, Lamborghini has developed a comprehensive design concept that draws inspiration from Bushido, the centuries old Japanese code that values courage, discipline, loyalty and unwavering determination.

The name “Impavido” translates from Italian as “fearless” or “courageous”, making it a fitting title for a model inspired by warriors renowned for their dedication, honour and strength. The name also reflects Lamborghini’s own philosophy of continually pushing boundaries in design, technology and performance.

Bushido as the Design Foundation

The Revuelto Impavido is much more than a special paint scheme. Every major styling element has been influenced by traditional samurai armour and weaponry, interpreted through Lamborghini’s distinctive design language.

Sharp graphic lines running across the doors and rear bumper reference the swift movement of a katana sword. These flowing forms are designed to convey precision, speed and controlled power, qualities that define both the legendary Japanese blade and Lamborghini’s latest flagship supercar.

Golden detailing across the bodywork represents the odoshi, the silk cords that historically connected the individual plates of samurai armour. Beyond their practical purpose, these cords symbolised identity, rank and clan allegiance, making them an appropriate visual feature for a vehicle created to celebrate cultural heritage.

The front fascia also incorporates inspiration from the maedate, the ornate crest mounted on the helmets worn by samurai warriors. Traditionally representing protection, status and identity, this element has been reimagined to strengthen the Revuelto’s bold and commanding appearance.

Additional styling references appear across the roof and front fenders. These details take inspiration from the kozane, the lacquered armour plates used in traditional Japanese armour. Lamborghini has translated their layered construction into contemporary forms that complement the carbon fibre architecture of the Revuelto.

Personalisation Through Ad Personam

The Revuelto Impavido showcases the capabilities of Lamborghini’s Ad Personam personalisation programme. This bespoke division allows customers to create highly individual vehicles using unique colours, finishes, materials and handcrafted details.

According to Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann, the project demonstrates how advanced engineering can be combined with cultural inspiration without compromising the company’s identity.

He explained that while the Revuelto represents Lamborghini’s vision for the future of the super sports car, the Impavido shows how personalisation can transform that vision into a unique expression of craftsmanship and individuality. Inspired by Bushido, the project creates a dialogue between Italian design excellence and Japanese culture while remaining unmistakably Lamborghini.

Four Distinctive Colour Configurations

Each Revuelto Impavido is available in one of four specially curated exterior finishes, with every colour carrying symbolic meaning connected to Japanese history and samurai traditions.

The first glossy finish is Verde Campus, inspired by Hisui jade. Considered Japan’s national stone, jade represents life, fertility and the enduring spirit of the earth.

The second glossy option is Grigio Artis Lucido, drawing inspiration from the polished blade of a katana. It represents loyalty, honour and the extraordinary craftsmanship associated with master sword makers.

Customers preferring matt finishes can choose Grigio Crater Matt, inspired by the dark armour worn by samurai. The colour reflects fearlessness, spiritual protection and authority.

The final option is Rosso Pyra, influenced by the famous Sanada Red associated with one of Japan’s best known samurai clans. The colour symbolises bravery, strength and discipline.

Each paint finish is paired with carefully selected accent colours. The glossy models feature Nero Noctis and Bronzo Oreadi highlights, while the matt versions combine Nero Nemesis with Bronzo Serse detailing. Carbon fibre components and exterior graphics share the same finish as the surrounding bodywork to create a cohesive appearance.

Exclusive Interior Details

The cabin continues the samurai inspired theme with a bespoke combination of premium materials and handcrafted finishes.

Nero Ade leather and Corsa Tex upholstery are complemented by Bronzo Oreadi contrast stitching throughout the interior. Special embroidery appears on the seats, doors and roof lining, while a dedicated Samurai logo reinforces the exclusive identity of the model.

Every Revuelto Impavido also receives an individually numbered carbon fibre plaque displaying “1 di 25”, confirming each car’s place within the strictly limited production run.

The result is an interior that combines luxury, performance and cultural storytelling without losing the unmistakable atmosphere expected from Lamborghini’s flagship supercar.

Lamborghini’s Most Advanced V12

Beneath the bespoke exterior lies the same revolutionary powertrain that makes the Revuelto one of the most technically advanced Lamborghinis ever produced.

The naturally aspirated 6.5 litre V12 engine remains the centrepiece of the drivetrain, preserving the character that has defined Lamborghini’s flagship models for decades. However, it is now supported by three electric motors and an eight speed dual clutch transmission mounted transversely behind the cabin.

Together, the hybrid system produces a remarkable 1,015 CV, making the Revuelto Lamborghini’s first High Performance Electrified Vehicle while maintaining the emotional appeal of a naturally aspirated V12.

The advanced hybrid architecture delivers immediate electric torque while preserving the dramatic sound and high revving characteristics enthusiasts expect from Lamborghini.

Supercar Performance

The Revuelto’s technical specifications remain among the most impressive in the automotive world.

A lightweight multi technology carbon fibre monocoque forms the foundation of the chassis, incorporating Forged Composites technology within the front structure. This advanced construction contributes to an exceptional weight to power ratio of just 1.75 kg per CV.

Performance figures are equally extraordinary. The Revuelto accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in only 2.5 seconds before reaching a top speed exceeding 350 km/h.

The chassis is supported by active aerodynamics featuring a rear wing that automatically adjusts between three operating positions. Carbon ceramic CCB Plus brakes provide immense stopping power, while all wheel drive and electrified torque vectoring maximise traction and agility in every driving condition.
