Lana is one of the most exclusive charter superyachts in the world, and deservedly BOAT International recently announced Lana as the winner of its Outstanding Exterior Design, Motor Yachts 60m & above award.
Built and designed by seasoned luxury yacht group Benetti. Lana is 107-meters long with a beam of 14.4-meters and a 4.3-meter draft. The superyacht has a max speed of 19 knots with a cruising speed of 16 knots. It can sleep up to 12 guests and has space for 33 crew members. Lana is exclusively available for charter through Imperial for $AUD2.9 million a week.
Lana’s design was one of the most closely scrutinized. Lana’s owner worked closely with the designers to ensure the utmost luxury. Over 300 people worked on the yacht every day for four years to build it. The exterior of Lana was stripped down to a gorgeous simplicity; it is characterized by long horizontal lines that give sleek masculinity to the superyacht.
The interior gives an airy feel given the 2.7-meter head height. Designers implemented a colour scheme inside Lana that would draw people back to the superyacht and make every journey distinct. The colour scheme consists of soft and neutral colours, accentuated through leather, ayous wood and marble materials used throughout the superyacht. Furthermore, each VIP cabin has its own individual colour scheme.
The standout feature of Lana is the chandelier; sitting at 6-meters in length, it hangs throughout many of the levels and ends in the main foyer. The chandelier appears to be closer to being a sculpture than a source of light, especially with the care that the designers put into its design. The chandelier went through 10 different renderings, and the position of the light strips was changed five times to achieve the precise glint that Lana’s owner wanted.
Lana has been designed to allow for every desire that a client might have. Amenities include a cinema room, beach club, outdoor salons, large 8-meter pool on the sundeck with warming system, centralized audio-video systems, fully equipped gym, spa and piano lounge. And last but not least, a Hammam and Massage room with a professional therapist.
There are many toys for you to enjoy your trip on Lana. These include water skis, jet skis, wakeboards, diving gear, fishing equipment, golf equipment, and paddleboards.
Unlike many superyachts, Lana can tour more than just the Mediterranean. Lana can go to Northern Europe, the Red sea, the Indian Ocean and the Caribbean. Lana is a favourite for many celebrities, including Beyonce and Jay-Z, who rented the superyacht to cruise around the Mediterranean for Beyonce’s 39th birthday.
