Bannisters Hotels are based by the sea in Mollymook and Port Stephens – two beautiful coastal towns located in New South Wales. The iconic hotels offer simple coastal luxury, with stunning ocean views, exceptional accommodation and the world-famous seafood restaurant by Rick Stein.
Mollymook
Bannisters at Mollymook was the first out of the two hotels to be built. With only being a three-hour drive from Sydney, Mollymook Bannisters is the perfect location for a weekend getaway. There are two different accommodation alternatives at Bannisters in Mollymook, these include the Pavillion and Bannisters by the Sea.
Guests are able to choose from classic rooms, spa retreats, beach houses and penthouses.
Bannisters at Mollymook also provides guests with the opportunity to dine out at the famous Rick Stein fresh seafood restaurant. Additionally, there are another two restaurant/bars available for guests to dine at. These include the Pool Bar and Rooftop Bar and Grill.
The Pool Bar has a very relaxed environment, providing gourmet pizzas and a large list of classic and modern cocktails. The indoor and outdoor setting creates the perfect vibe for a relaxing afternoon by the ocean and pool.
At Bannisters Pavilion, the Rooftop Bar and Grill is extremely renowned. Open both day and night, the rooftop provides laidback eating and drinking among the treetops of Mollymook.
Port Stephens
Similarly to Mollymook, Bannisters at Port Stephens creates a luxurious and relaxing experience for all guests.
This hotel is the most recent out of all Bannisters hotels and was designed to recreate Salamander Shores, which was an iconic hotel in the sixties and seventies. The hotel offers guests the option of either a luxury suite or the penthouse. Both options provide stunning panoramic views of the ocean and a view into the koala habitat.
Similarly to Mollymook, Bannisters Port Stephens also provides guests with the experience of the well-known Rick Stein’s signature restaurant. Although, guests also have the opportunity to dine at the Terrace Bar.
The Terrace Bar is open from 12 pm daily and is situated just by a stunning infinity pool. The bar serves up delicious Mediterranean and modern Australian dishes, alongside refreshing classic cocktails and an extensive wine and beer list.
Rick Stein
Rick Stein has signature restaurants located at both Mollymook and Port Stephens. The restaurant is perfect for those who absolutely love fresh seafood and great wine.
Rick Stein sources local ingredients and with passion and excitement through cooking and preparation, provides spectacular dishes.
From oysters, prawns and muscles to rib eye, linguini and risotto – there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Day Spa
Adding on to the already amazing list of features these hotels provide, they also have a day spa available for all guests. The day spa consists of a refreshing menu of therapeutic treatments.
These treatments range from massages and facial treatments to manicures and pedicures. The spa uses organic Australian products, ensuring no harsh chemicals are used in the process.
Both of these beautiful locations allow guests to ultimately relax and unwind while having food, drinks, stunning beaches and crystal clear pools all at their doorstep.
