Crafted and produced by the esteemed Milan-based Balich Wonder Studio, this extraordinary showcase is curated by none other than Italian scholar, author, and fashion professor Alba Cappellieri. Paying great attention to detail, Cappellieri has carefully selected pieces that not only epitomise the mastery of Mario Buccellati but also illuminate the brand’s unwavering commitment to transcending time through the art of jewellery-making.
The exhibition’s title pays homage to a designation bestowed upon founder Buccellati by his friend, the esteemed 20th-century poet Gabriele d’Annunzio – ‘The Prince of Goldsmiths,” a testament to his unparalleled talent in crafting timeless masterpieces. Now, decades later, Buccellati remains in redefining and rediscovering the profound value of the ‘classic,’ viewing it as a beacon capable of surpassing temporal boundaries and attaining a legacy that withstands the test of time.
From April 18 to June 18, 2024, the doors of Oficine 8000 in Venice (Fondamenta S. Biagio, 800) will open to host the mesmerising tapestry of Buccellati’s legacy. Divided into four evocative themes, the exhibition offers a comprehensive exploration of Buccellati’s rich history.
