LAMBORGHINI GOES MARINE: THE TECNOMAR 101FT MOTORYACHT

The 101FT project builds on Lamborghini’s existing marine lineage, originating with the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 in 2020. But this new iteration takes the concept to a new scale and ambition. The exterior is sculpted with sharp, aerodynamic lines that echo Lamborghini supercars, especially the limited-edition Fenomeno model. Its livery launch colour, Giallo Crius, was borrowed directly from Fenomeno. The front and rear lights, too, draw cues from car design, merging form and function in bold geometry.

Inside, the boat speaks Lamborghini in stitch, shape and motif. You’ll find hexagonal patterns, Y-shaped elements, and clean lines. The helm station is especially noteworthy: it channels the experience of driving a Lamborghini, in a marine form.

Accommodations are generous: the yacht can host eight to nine guests and includes three crew cabins. It is designed so even long journeys feel indulgent.

This vessel is not just beautiful, it is engineered for performance. It is driven by three MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, paired with surface propellers. Altogether, they deliver a formidable 7,600 horsepower.

In terms of speed, the 101FT can reach a top pace of 45 knots, with a cruising speed of 35 knots. Two 35 kW generators support onboard systems and ensure reliability across conditions.

The yacht was introduced in scale during Monaco, with the full-scale model expected to launch around the end of 2027.

Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Lamborghini, described the 101FT not simply as a yacht, but as “an affirmation of Italian excellence.”He emphasised that design, performance and innovation come together in this vessel to redefine nautical luxury.

Gianmaria Costantino of The Italian Sea Group echoed this sentiment, stressing that the 101FT is a realisation of demands from the modern yacht owner, blending power, design, and identity.

Mitja Borkert, Design Director for Lamborghini, spoke of close collaboration between Centro Stile in Sant’Agata and the yacht engineers, to ensure that every detail reflected Lamborghini’s DNA.

The 101FT project positions Lamborghini not just as an automotive icon, but as a full luxury lifestyle brand cultivating presence on land and on sea. It extends the concept of performance so that speed, aesthetics, and identity become portable.

More than that, it embodies the idea that a product can express coherence across disciplines. Just as a Lamborghini car makes a statement on the road, this yacht aims to make one on water, uncompromising in design, riveting in presence.
