Lamborghini does the unexpected during Italy’s honoured Milan Design Week where they introduced a limited edition ‘All Terrain’ special series of the original Huracám Sterrato.
The 12 limited edition sports cars are inspired by the four elements of the world in cooperation with its Centro Stile and developed by the brand’s Ad Personam studio.
The CEO of Lamborghini as well as the Chairman, Stephan Winkelmann, over 200 guests had the pleasure of viewing the world premiere of the sports cars at Tanja Solci, Milan. The exceptional series was surrounded by a specifically specially created setting revealing the car’s incredible personalities. The personalities of the 12 cars are inspired by the disruptive tendencies of nature of a particular environment backdrop such as desert, rocks and forest which are all lively and bold. The setting was incredible and the cars were revealed during the evening event live on stage creating the ideal atmosphere by an Italian artist.
Each of the four Sterrato models showcases a matte camouflage paint design crafted by Lamborghini’s Ad Personam studio. This design mirrors the natural surroundings where the Sterrato performs best, with the All-Terrain editions embracing the colours found in the landscapes that inspired them. The four elements are NEVE meaning ‘snow’ which represents the ice-cool colours of the tundra, SABBIA meaning ‘sand’ demonstrates the neutral hues of green cacti and warm desert featuring the oasis and dunes, the BOSCO meaning ‘green track’ demonstrating leaves, trees and moss, TERRA meaning ‘gravel’ features the sands and warm ground of arid landscape and moorland environments showcased under breathtaking sunsets.
The distinctive exteriors are completed with a matte black finish on the roof and upper bonnet cover, along with crossbars and roof rails. The lower section of the car also sports a matte black paint finish, featuring a lower band in a distinct accent colour specific to each of the four versions. This is complemented by Morus 19” matte black forged rims, coordinating calliper colours, and supplementary lights. The interior Ad Personam specifications complement the design with dark chrome accents and carbon twill details, accompanied by Alcantara upholstery. Lasered Sterrato-specific graphics adorn the interior, while an Ad Personam plate highlights the special edition.
Design Director Mitja Borkert announces that the ‘All-Terrain’ in its dynamic abilities is a true Lamborghini in the way it produces the unexpected. The Sterrato is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 engine, generating a maximum power output of 610 CV and 560 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. This powertrain is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and digitally managed all-wheel drive, featuring a rear mechanical differential that is self-locking. The limited edition cars’ broader tracks and heightened ride contribute to enhancing the super sports car’s enjoyable driving dynamics, both on-road and off-road. Crafted to excel on loose surfaces, the Sterrato accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and achieves a top speed of 260 km/h (160 mph).
The 12 super sport cars have already been sold to chosen clients across the three primary commercial regions that are Africa, Middle East, Europe, USA and Latin America, Australia and Asia Pacific, as part of the total production volume of 1499. Each primary commercial region will obtain 4 of the unique exceptional series cars which will lead to being the distinctive Lamborghini cars in their countries.
