New Luxurious Brisbane Hotels

Over the past couple of years, the city of Brisbane has had a major revamp, with many luxurious hotels hitting the scene. Many of these five-star hotels have opened their doors in the last twelve months and have displayed nothing but high-end finishes and a feel of absolute opulence. From the City to the Valley, below are some of the newest hotels in Brisbane that are definitely worth the visit.

This new Brisbane hotel is located in Southbank and houses 143 rooms. The $600 million precinct boasts some seriously impressive finishes and designs. The hotel features incredibly high ceilings, 24-hour in-suite dining, a grand ballroom that accommodates up to 350 guests, three multipurpose boardrooms, a spectacular rooftop 23-metre infinity pool and a beautiful bar complete with a “disco” vibe, boasting views over South Bank Parklands, the Brisbane River and the CBD.

The Emporium Brisbane hosts many different suites for guests to choose from. The most popular includes the Poolside Cabana Suites, which offer direct access to the pool deck, additionally with a front patio and seating that displays panoramic views of the city and river.

There is also the Frangipani suite, this is located on the 20th floor and is truly one-of-a-kind. For those willing to splurge, this lavish style and deluxe comfort is for you. Guests that stay in this suite will enjoy an expansive space, with a range of high-end touches. These include a formal double entry with marble flooring that leads to a beautiful living room that consists of a baby grand piano, double-sided fireplace, a handmade bronze bar with three seats, and a private balcony that offers views of the Brisbane River and city skyline. There is also a karaoke/media room, a separate study, a full-bottle Eurocave wine fridge, mini-bar, two 55-inch LED televisions, Bose Soundbar, king-size bed and a spacious walk-in wardrobe. The Frangipani suite will set you back $2,919 per night.

The Emporium Brisbane offers an array of dining options for guests to enjoy. One of these being Signature, this culinary collection serves elegant but modern cuisine that celebrates the best of Australian Produce. There is also Belle Epoque which provides a little piece of Paris and it’s very own champagne bar. And of course, The Terrace, located on the rooftop providing stunning views of Brisbane. This restaurant is open from breakfast to dinner and provides all things savoury and sweet. The bar is extremely opulent with even a dress code that applies throughout the day to night.

The Calile Hotel – Fortitude Valley

This 175 room hotel is located in Fortitude Valley and offers a millennial-friendly design and a relaxed, lifestyle-focused vibe. The opulent hotel offers an award-winning restaurant, cocktail bar, day spa and a string of high-end fashion boutiques amongst the ground floor doors.

Similarly to the Emporium, there are a number of suites for guests to choose from. Beautifully, designed with millennial pinks and high-end finishes, the modern suites boast a little luxury for everyone. The most deluxe suite is the Calile Suite King, featuring a spacious contemporary 70 square metre living area, a multi-level outdoor entertaining space with a private rooftop terrace and Brisbane city views – coming in at $1, 619 per night.

Bar and dining options available at Calile Brisbane include the Lobby Bar, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner – known for “an espresso in the morning, an espresso martini at night and everything in-between”. Hellenika is another restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and serves authentic Greek cuisine in a sophisticated poolside setting. Newly opened on Ada Lane just outside the hotel is Beaux Rumble, which boasts a French Beaux Arts designed venue with a focus on modern Australian wood-fired cuisine, incorporating vegetable and seafood dishes.

The Calile Brisbane includes a Spa and Fitness Centre, promoting the idea of relax, rejuvenate and revitalise. Guests have the option to train solo or book a class at the modern fitness centre, offering the best technology and new machines perfect for hitting goals. Kailo Wellness Medispa offers all things from medical cosmetic procedures, to IV vitamin therapies, facials and massages. The spa menu is broad, making sure there is something for everybody.

These two hotels amongst many other luxurious venues are perfect for a quick getaway or family holiday. The opulent designs and modern rooms make any guest feel like a star.
