Ocean Bliss Reimagined: Aboard the Superyacht Contigo, Where Luxury Meets the Sea

There are yachts, and then there is Contigo, a 133-foot Benetti Oasis 40M that redefines charter luxury. Designed for those who crave connection with the sea without sacrificing a moment of elegance, this superyacht delivers an immersive escape like no other—anchored off the white sands of the Bahamas or cruising the sun-drenched Mediterranean, Contigo is the epitome of refined freedom.

Designed for ultimate relaxation, Contigo’s aft deck is a near 900-square-foot invitation to unwind. With fold-down side terraces that open the yacht to the sea, the boundaries between deck and ocean blur. A glass-fronted Jacuzzi, plush sunpads, and a sprawling rear-facing sofa create an open-air salon that’s impossible to resist. One could spend the entire charter immersed in this “beach club” concept—sunbathing, dining, or simply soaking in the ambience of open water.

As AJ Blackmon, CEO of Ikonic Yachts and curator of Contigo’s charter itinerary, shared, “It was the Oasis Deck that sealed the deal for the owner.” That decision—made sight unseen—speaks volumes about the yacht’s magnetism.

From its striking Redman Whitely Dixon exterior to the serene interiors by Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture, Contigo delivers a design ethos of understated elegance. The interiors take their cues from luxury hospitality—think glossy white surfaces, soft gray textiles, and golden oak flooring. It’s a palette that soothes, perfect for a floating retreat.

Accommodations are designed to impress. The full-beam primary suite offers panoramic views, dual workspaces, and a steam-equipped shower that rivals any luxury spa. Five additional cabins bring the total guest capacity to 14, including two spacious VIP suites.

But what makes Contigo feel truly special is its curated lifestyle. Days begin with chef Rusty Johnson’s signature huevos rancheros—a dish learned from the mother of a famed Mexican billionaire—and end with tender Wagyu beef grilled to perfection and enjoyed under the stars.

For the active charter guest, Contigo is a veritable playground. A 42-foot navy-hulled Scout tender—complete with its own captain—ushers guests to secluded beaches or deep-sea adventures. Sea-Doo Sparks, foiling e-boards, paddleboards, and a floating sea pool ensure endless fun at the water’s edge.

Powering the yacht is a pair of 1,400 hp MAN V12 engines, cruising effortlessly at 17 mph with near-silent precision. With a fuel capacity of nearly 12,000 gallons, Contigo boasts a range of 4,000 nautical miles—more than enough for cross-continental exploration.
