Tequila Ocho has built its reputation on authenticity since its founding in 2008 by legendary fifth generation maestro tequilero Carlos Camarena and the late tequila ambassador Tomas Estes. Long before single origin spirits became a widespread trend, the brand focused on demonstrating how different growing sites shape the character of agave. Following distillation, the tequila spends a full year maturing in French oak barrels that previously aged Cognac produced by Ferrand. The casks introduce an additional layer of complexity without compromising the bright vegetal character that defines Tequila Ocho.
Ferrand has earned international acclaim under the leadership of master blender Alexandre Gabriel, whose portfolio also includes celebrated brands such as Planteray Rum and Citadelle Gin.
