The Rimor X super yacht is a 96-metre explorer designed by Sturge Design in the UK and expedition specialist Pelorus. The Rimor X is projected to have a top speed of 17 knots and a range of 10,000 nautical miles.
The large yacht is spread across five decks and features a large gym overlooking the ocean, a fully equipped wellness spa and an atrium that leads down to an underwater “mermaid lounge” made for observing life underwater. On the main deck, the yacht features a 10-metre swimming pool, with its own personalised pool house/cabana (the cabana can be converted into a helicopter pad with the touch of a button). There is an extensive al fresco dining and lounging area with an outside Jacuzzi and fire put.
The modern design consists of unique detailing with large ceilings and extensive glass surfaces, this offers panoramic views and establishes a connection with the outdoors, whatever the weather may be. The Rimor X can accommodate a total of fourteen guests in seven rooms, including four double suites on the lower deck, two VIP apartments on the main deck and a dedicated owner’s deck and observatory.
The design was inspired by the demands of clients. A main feature is the sundeck with a raised area near the wheelhouse, creating an island inside the yacht. The interior stylings of the Rimor X include teak detailing in the ceilings and textured materials with the right balance of light-absorbing and reflection materials throughout the yacht. Onboard there will be the usual gigayacht toys, such as a submersible, jet skies and inflatable paddle boards. The designers also included equipment to serve faraway destinations, like snowmobiles. The Rimor X has been designed to travel through all types of climates and conditions, so is suitable for all destinations.
