Taronga Zoo sits on some amazing real estate in the north of Sydney and boasts amazing views of Sydney’s Harbour. The Wildlife Retreat offers 62 extraordinary rooms for guests to choose from, either submerging in with the animals or having beautiful sunset views.

All guests also get given the opportunity for a guided tour following their night stay or they are able to just simply wander around the zoo at their own leisure.

The design aspect of the retreat has undergone serious consideration in order to develop five environmentally-sensitive and sustainably designed lodges which have been built into the native bushland.

Each retreat ‘experience package’ gives guests a dinner at Me-Gal restaurant. Me-Gal provides delicious culinary delights that are full of fresh and native ingredients which are sourced locally. The menu will be seasonally-modified but will definitely satisfy the senses. Guests also receive a buffet breakfast the following morning after the stay.

The sustainability of the retreat offers an eco-friendly and rewarding experience as they have designed the rooms in order to target a five star Green Star rating.

The luxuriously appointed overnight stay opens on Thursday the 10th of October so be sure to book in early!
