The Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney is opening their doors so guests can enjoy bottomless brunches for the coming of Spring. This experience is offered to both the public and the guests staying at the incredible hotel. The brunch will be hosted on the 36th floor, at the restaurant Altitude. Famous for its spectacular views, it is crucial to book in early to secure a spot.
Altitude will be offering a luscious mid-morning feast with amazing views of the harbour and endless, free-flowing mimosas and billini’s. The offer is priced at $95 per person and will run for two hours. Guests also have the option to upgrade to free-flow of Veuve Clicquot NV at an additional $55 per person.
The large, delicious menu definitely makes you feel like you are getting your money’s worth, especially with the types of dishes available.
The Bountiful Brunch menu consists of coffee, tea and juices, additional to the mimosas and billini’s. There is a buffet section of the menu which consists of Seafood; oysters and poached prawns, Meats; prosciutto, Berkshire ham and mortadella, Pastries and Cheese; with a selection of breads and pastries, Australian fine cheeses and honeycomb, and Homemade Muesli with organic oats and yoghurt.
Additionally guests are also provided with an A La Carte menu where guests can choose one dish per person from the following list and it will be made by request. Guests are given an option of Smoked Salmon with labneh, chat potato and orange, Pulled Lamb Shoulder with sourdough, parsnip hash and smoked feta, Pancakes Souffles with banana, cocoa almond and milk ice cream, Beef Benedict with poached eggs,
hollandaise sauce and potato brandade, Avocado with oxheart tomato, blue swimmer crab and an omelette, and Chorizo Shakshuka with baked egg, tomato and capsicum.
Of course, there is also a choice of dessert at the buffet, these include lollipops, macarons, chocolates, banana bread, caramel slice and fresh seasonal fruits.
The brunch at Altitude is only available on Saturdays and Sundays and it is essential to book a table for the bottomless brunch to ensure you have a reserved seat. However, it is good to know that Sundays and Public Holidays incur a 15% surcharge.
