Meet has been designed to replicate renowned eateries of Manhattan, bringing a chic and stylish atmosphere. The restaurant and bar was previously located on Honeysuckle Drive, but has now moved downtown into a converted warehouse on Darby Street.

Local designers After Dark and Something More Design are responsible for the new interior. The fresh makeover has included an array of plants and endless fairy lights, creating a cool and relaxed vibe for all. The designers included an open kitchen, so guests can watch the team at work preparing delicious dishes. Additionally, for real food lover’s there is an opportunity to have a private chef’s table experience.

The chef’s table experience offers a tailored menu that caters to the guests preferred tastes and flavours. The ingredients are sourced locally and are made with farm-to-fork produce then matched with local premium wines. The guests can then continue to watch the meals be prepared, cooked and served from the private dining area. This is an amazing experience that every foodie needs to tick off their bucket list.

The bar and restaurant are separated by a textured glass wall, creating two different atmospheres for guests. The restaurant provides a lighter and airy vibe, where as the bar is darker and more mysterious.

The food menu includes both a bar menu for guests to share and a restaurant menu for bigger meals. As the menu is based on South-American style and delicacies, Meet serves signature Churrasco which is an all you can eat barbecue. You can select a range of meats, poultry and sausages (depending on the season) that are spit roasted and slowly cooked on a rotisserie barbecue over natural wood and coals.

Additionally, the drink list consists of local drops from the Hunter Valley, which is less than 2 hours away from Newcastle. The list also includes a variety of refreshing cocktails perfect for an after-work delight or low-key Sunday session.

Making reservations is available and the best way to secure a seat, especially within the restaurant section.
