Penfolds

Penfolds is one of the most renowned vineyards and wines around the world. Primarily located in South Australia, on prime, authentic land, Penfolds has owned and leased vineyards in addition to sourcing grapes from independent growers. Penfolds has various linked estates around South Australia that include Magill Estate, Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, Coonawarra and Eden Valley.

Magill Estate provides above and beyond service with a fine dining Restaurant and Kitchen which offers incredible views on Penfolds very first vineyard. Head Chef at Magill Estate Restaurant is Scott Huggins, who provides contemporary food and exemplary service, complemented by the finest collection of wines from the very own winery. Being one of the oldest, most iconic wineries and with a wine worth $168,000, this vineyard is a must-visit.

Tyrrell’s Wine

Tyrrell’s Vineyard was established in 1858 and is located in the Hunter Valley, NSW and Heathcote in Victoria. Tyrrell’s Vineyard offers many experiences for wine lovers, with daily winery tours, VIP premium tours and tasting experiences, and sacred sites exclusive experiences. The Vineyard also has a special Sacred Sites & Muse Lunch Exclusive Experience, where guests will indulge in a private and personalised tour, special tasting of Tyrrell’s sacred site wines and a 4 course lunch catered by Muse Dining, one of the best restaurants in NSW, valued at $850 per person.

The Tyrrell’s wines portfolio has a broad variety of wine styles to suit every palate. With tours being held frequently, it is a great getaway for big or small groups for a weekend.

d’Arenberg

d’Arenberg is located in the McLaren Vale region in South Australia. The “Cube” was developed in 2003 and was inspired by the complexities and puzzles of winemaking. Each of the five levels of the cube have been designed to entice and excite the senses, including features such as a wine sensory room, a virtual fermenter, a 360 degree video room and other tactile experiences.

The cube also includes a fine dining restaurant which offers a seasonally changing degustation menu, with an extensive list of d’Arenberg wines to complement each meal. d’Arenberg also has many experiences available for wine lovers, such as tastings, masterclasses and helicopter tours, making it a must visit winery.

Lancaster Wines 

Lancaster Wines is located in Western Australia’s Swan Valley, around 20 minutes from Perth. Lancaster Winery boasts some of the oldest vines in Swan Valley and produces some of the most popular wines in Australia. Lancaster Winery has a well-known outdoor tasting shed, where guests can enjoy premium wines and a gourmet selection of local cheeses.

Lancaster Wines also offers guests bus tours around the winery and are also a popular vineyard for weddings and wedding receptions. The stunning Western Australia sunsets and beautiful views is another reason this winery is a place to check off the bucket list.
