The Bellarine Peninsula features Australia’s most outstanding views, from rolling hills to expansive vineyards and scenic views of the ocean. Waterfront lodge Campbell Point House is ideally situated in the heart of the exceptional Bellarine Peninsula.
Campbell Point House provides a taste of European luxury in regional Victoria. The grandiosity of French Chateaus was the main inspiration behind the mansion’s design; Aaron Parkhill, the nephew of billionaire businessman Frank Lowy, was the visionary architect behind the mansion design built in 2008. Celebrities, including Marco Pierre White, Justin Bieber and Adele, have all stayed at the mansion. Campbell Point House is accessible via helicopter.
There are five different suite styles that guests can book to stay at Campbell Point House. The Mansion Suites are situated on the ground floor of the grand chateau and have a light style featuring off-white stone walls, a neoclassical-style embellished fireplace and a king bed with ensuite.
The Master Suite takes up the entire second floor of the chateau and features two dressing rooms, a large ensuite and an elegant and spacious master suite.
The Stables Suite contains three bedrooms, all with king beds and two bathrooms. The suite is stunning, with large amounts of natural light coming into the rooms through the grand arched windows.
The Cottage Suite has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and features a private patio with magnificent views as on one side it looks to the European-inspired gardens, and the other side looks onto the lake.
The Lake Suite looks onto uninterrupted views of Lake Connewarre. It has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Furthermore, it has private gardens and a private outdoor viewing area by the lake.
Campbell Point House also offers packages for hiring the whole house for special events such as weddings. The mansion holds up to 30 people overnight. Packages include exclusive use of the hotel, an onsite ceremony (for weddings), canapes and a three-course dinner including a 5-hour beverage package, and breakfast in the morning.
The Restaurant at Campbell Point House specialises in fine dining, with French cuisine influencing their food. The restaurant provides dinner for guests staying at the mansion in the fairytale-style dining hall behind the open-plan kitchen. Breakfast for guests is served in the conservatory, which looks onto the gardens and is stunningly lit by natural light through the arched windows highlighting the neutral colours of the room. The restaurant is also open to the broader community, features a seasonal five-course degustation menu, and opens for high tea.
Visitors can spend their holiday having a regenerating massage at the day spa. Or, if guests want the local experience, there are many wineries and countless stunning beaches in the surrounding area.
