Dalwhinnie Wine Lunch – Lake House, Victoria
Hosted by winemaker David Jones on Saturday the 11th of May from 12 pm to 4 pm, the Lake House Wine Lunch offers an exquisite four-course lunch showcasing their wines from the spectacular Dalwhinnie vineyard.
The Dalwhinnie Vineyard is one of Victoria’s oldest family-run vineyards of 37 years, acclaimed as a ‘super-premium’ producer of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay.
High-profile guest at the Lakehouse, James Halliday, disclosed that Dalwhinnie offers“wines with tremendous depth of flavour, reflecting the relatively low-yielding but well-maintained vineyards.
The vineyards are dry-grown and managed organically, hence the low yield, but the quality more than compensates.”
Tickets are from $295 at the Lakehouse website.
