La Datcha Yacht – Explore Antarctica

The best in class expedition yacht; La Datcha, is ready to take guests on an Antarctic adventure, costing just over a million dollars. The 77-metre vessel has just been listed for charter for roughly $1,180,000 per week.

The vessel represents that first purpose-built icebreaker yacht compliant with the International Maritime Organisation’s Polar Code and can cruise autonomously for up to forty days.

The bronze-coloured brute was built by Damen, and is described as “the ultimate crossover of super yacht quality and finish with serious capability”. The yacht can power through 16-inch thick ice but is covered in completed five-star luxury. La Datcha was delivered to Tinkov earlier in July, and has since been offered for hire in Antarctica during December 2021 and January 2022.

The lofty vessel spans six decks, which are accessed via a special glass-encased elevator. La Datcha can sleep twelve guests, meaning if the bill is split it will cost each person $98,000. The yacht also sleeps an extra 25 extra crew members that will cater to each and every need. Each of the six, sizeable cabins come complete with a walk-in dressing room and en-suite bathroom.

Guests can take in the views from the observation lounge, which has incredible full-height windows, or make use of the onboard amenities, such as the Turkish bath and sauna, massage studio, gym and jacuzzi. Impressively, the yacht even has its very own private hospital, perfect when spending multiple weeks at sea.

The most impressive features of the La Datcha yacht is the toy collection that comes with the vessel. The ship has an extraordinary equipment inventory, including two helicopters with a heli-deck and hangar, two snowmobiles, four jet skis, a mini submarine, a dive centre with a decompression chamber, and several tenders.

La Datcha is available for the 2020/21 season through Fraser Yachts at a starting price of approximately $1,180,000 per week. Full itineraries are available through contacting Fraser Yachts.
