Meet Ghost: The 92-Foot Foiling Yacht That Redefines Tomorrow’s Luxury at Sea

There are concept yachts, and then there are apparitions that glide through the world’s boat shows like whispered rumors. At this year’s Abu Dhabi International Boat Show, one such apparition emerged in the form of Ghost, a 92-foot foiling yacht concept. The vessel felt less like a traditional debut and more like a visitor from a future where luxury travel defies gravity. Designed to “fly” above the waves with spectral elegance, Ghost is poised to become one of the most fascinating yachts of its era.

Designed by Foiler in collaboration with Enata and Bozca Design, Ghost elevates the very idea of motion on water. From its computer-controlled hydrofoils to its carbon fiber and titanium shell, every surface and system serves the singular purpose of reducing drag and enhancing velocity. The result is a nearly 100-foot yacht that rises six feet above the sea at cruising speeds of 30 to 35 knots, then pushes beyond 40 knots with thrilling precision. This evolution of Foiler’s technology first appeared on the 32-foot Spirit, and it has now been reimagined for a vessel prepared to enthrall even the most seasoned yachtsmen.

“Foiling transforms the experience of yachting,” Enata Group CEO Alois Vieujot said during the unveiling. “At 40 knots, passengers can speak in hushed tones and walk around freely, without the slamming and noise of a traditional high-speed ride.” What guests experience instead is a sensation closer to flight than to seafaring. The boat whispers across the surface, its foils slicing through water while the hull hovers in a state of remarkable serenity.

Inside, Ghost offers a level of spaciousness rarely seen in yachts of its size. Nearly 1,500 square feet of interior living area are complemented by 560 square feet of exterior deck space. Bozca Design’s minimalist aesthetic shines through smooth sculptural lines, premium finishes, and floor-to-ceiling glazing that fills the interiors with daylight. Owners may select from three to five cabins and enjoy a generous full-beam salon that flows naturally into the aft beach club.

“Ghost is not just a foiling yacht but a high-performance platform shaped by architecture, precision engineering, and purposeful design,” notes Timur Bozca, head of Bozca Design. The interior experience reflects that philosophy with an emphasis on lightness, harmony, and uninterrupted ocean views. Aboard Ghost, the journey is as meditative as it is exhilarating.

Operating the yacht is intentionally intuitive. Foiler’s signature plush seats, soft-touch joystick controls, and hidden systems ensure that navigation feels effortless. Even the crane designed for Jet Ski or tender deployment can be neatly tucked away, preserving the yacht’s clean and futuristic silhouette.

The Foiler legacy forms the foundation for Ghost’s innovations. Earlier Foiler models introduced hydrostatic propulsion paired with custom Enata torpedoes that allowed boats to glide above the waves with unprecedented smoothness. With 740 horsepower and the ability to fly 1.5 meters above the water, these earlier models redefined stability and comfort at high speed. They also introduced the quiet elegance that has now become central to the Foiler identity.

Ghost pushes this identity further by offering semi-custom layouts tailored to each owner’s lifestyle. Whether the goal is family adventure, high-speed thrill seeking, or cinematic sophistication reminiscent of James Bond, the platform can be shaped to match. Foiler calls this the “High-Life” experience, a blend of serenity, futurism, and bold extravagance that ensures the yacht will never go unnoticed.

Construction on the first hull is set to begin within the next 12 to 18 months with launch anticipated in 2029. For now, Ghost exists as an exquisite preview of what high-performance yachting can become. It hints at a future where noise and impact fade away and where speed becomes an expression of grace rather than aggression.

When Ghost finally arrives on the water, the seas may look a little quieter and a little more enchanted. A sleek silhouette will rise above the surface, gliding with uncanny calm. And those fortunate enough to be aboard will experience a sensation few yachts have ever delivered. They will be sailing with a phantom.
